Mission Statement

The Town of Wawarsing Tax Collector's Office collects authorized taxes and fees from people and businesses in a fair and professional manner, and efficiently distributes the proceeds in accordance with law to the taxing authorities.

Late Payment of Taxes

After June 1, all taxes are payable to:
Department of Finance

Kingston, NY 12401

Unpaid taxes will have a 5% penalty, plus interest compounded to date.
The following interest schedule is in effect:
January Par
February 1%
March 2%
April 3%
May 4%

Please make checks payable to:
Receiver of Taxes - Town of Wawarsing

Please return the bottom portion of your bill and indicate a first half-payment or whole payment and check the appropriate box for a receipt.

PLEASE NOTE: By law no taxes can be accepted after January 31 without penalty.

UNITED STATES POSTMARK DATE ON YOUR ENVELOPE IS THE ONLY OFFICIAL STAMP DATE ACCEPTED.
